I grew up eating Ken's Belgian Waffles whenever we could whine our way into going out on the weekend for breakfast. Fifteen years later, I'm still doing the same exact thing! There are very few places I would rather go than Ken's for breakfast because I know they're consistent, they've been around probably as long as I've been alive, and it's not expensive. What's not to like? If you're ever unsure about what to get, here's your simplified menu (in order of greatness): Short stack of blueberry pancakes (The BEST pancakes!) Western Omelette Belgian Waffle with strawberries on top Biscuits and gravy with a side of corned beef hash And if you're in for a fatty treat, you have to get the homemade cinnamon roll with butter!

Love Ken's! I've been coming here whenever I'm in the mood for a good, solid breakfast. Their pancakes are enormous and are super thin, like crepes. Get a short stack if you have a small appetite! Also, come early before the church crowd hits if you're out and about on a Sunday. It's a small place and gets packed pretty quickly. However, I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a seat.

Sunday morning breakfast should be delicious, greasy, comfort food. Here, you definitely get the greasy part but unfortunately they're missing the delicious food part of the equation. Good food would also otherwise forgive lousy service, unfortunately they have neither good food nor pleasant staff. 10/10 would NOT recommend or go back again. And for the record "Homemade corn beef hash", even after clarification from our server, is most definitely the disgusting canned meat. Save yours money and stomach space and go somewhere else.

One & Done for me. 5 star rating on the jubilant greeting upon entering, and endless refills on Java. But the $6.25 price for the basic 2 X 4 is crazy & the only substitution for American fries or toast is tomatoes No Muffin No Hotcakes Nothing.....I know I know, who am I to request a substitution.

If I could give negative stars I would. This place must have been bought by another owner cause the food was horrible, the place was empty and Ken wasn't there. I've been going here for years and the place used to have a line out the door and Ken the owner would visit every table to make sure everything was awesome. This last time I was there they burned the bacon, than replaced that order of bacon with one that had hair in it, the omelette was watery and the waitress overcharged us. I will never go back! STAY AWAY!

Hubby and I were tired and hungry after delivering the Sunday newspaper. Hubby carried his travel mug in with him and set it on the table. After about 15 minutes of waiting, the waitress came over and said he'd have to take the coffee mug outside because it was against the rules to have it inside the restaurant!!! Have you ever heard of anything like that? I stuffed the darn thing into my purse. We finally got menus after another ten minutes. Asked why it took so long for just the menus, we were told they were waiting until they were sure the offending coffee travel mug was outside. We should have just left, but we were there already... Food was lackluster and bland for just a couple sandwiches. Never again...

The food is average at best. The owner and his daughter are psychos constantly yelling at employees. Always a help wanted sign in the window wow wonder why??? Very creepy after 3 visits we r done!!!!

Had the Eggs Benedict here today and the Hollandaise sauce was obviously home made and to die for. The pork sausage are bigger than the usual store type and melt in your mouth delicious. The service is outstanding, couldn't ask for more, waitress stopped to ask us how things are and if we needed anything about 6 times during our meal. Ken is walking around talking to everyone and even handing out free samples of sausage and sweet rolls to those waiting for a seat...now thats the way to do it! The place got full and emptied and got full again....sure sign of a good place...nuff said!

If you love bacon, the buck stops here. This place is unreal. Definitely a greasy spoon....and the BEST ONE IN TOWN. Hands down. What is their secret to the bacon???!!!! It's SUPER THICK and makes your mouth water....and an order of bacon with breakfast always leaves me with about 3 ginormous pieces coming home for an afternoon snack.... PORTIONS ARE HUGE! The service is ridiculous too. This restaurant is like a FINE OILED MACHINE....the staff works perfectly together and they CRANK everything out so fast....and it's always perfect! I have NEVER ONCE had an order incorrect, or had to look around for a waitress to pour more coffee (someone stops by literally every minute or two to top you off).... I highly suggest if you are looking for a killer breakfast - or even lunch! - TRY THIS PLACE!!!! You won't regret it! If you come on a weekend, be prepared to wait a bit since there are no reservations..... but no worries - you won't wait long - service is lightening fast.... Oh - and they used to be cash only. Now they accept Visa and MC.

Decent food. Large portions. Weekend prices are jacked up versus weekdays, when they offer specials. Gets super busy Sunday mornings. So be prepared to wait. Overly attentive staff (quit refilling my coffee! It WAS perfect).

We have tried so many new restaurants by reading reviews and Kens is another. We had breakfast and it was so good! The omelets are huge! It's a small place but definitely worth the lines that are always forming.

Great service and food! The staff was extra attentive. The crepe-like pancakes are huge and delicious. Omelette was cooked perfectly along with hand cut home fries. No frozen food here! Try the sausage links, scrumptious! Will definitely be back.

I am reluctant to give a five star, but a 4.5 would be on the money. Ken's is a local staple. There are no better traditional omlettes in the area. The servings are enormous but don't rely on their enormity to get the job done, they taste incredible too! And, its nice to see a place where the owner is stil walking around greeting patrons and making sure the place is as it should be. If you're within fifteen miles of this place, get there for a good breakfast. Its the best.

Decent fair., but nothing that really sets it apart. Last time my waffle was under cooked. Come on guys it doesn't get easier than a waffle, ill be more than happy to wait one more minute for a crispy waffle. Check it out. Good service

We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It was full, usually a good sign. The food was ok, the breakfast sausage was so so. Pricey for what you get. The omelet was great - much better than the coney island places. The toast was also good. I'll go back again to try another meal, but really it was not exceptional and pretty average.
